The Single Window System is used to design, implement and operate Single Electronic Window for the Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS), Republic of Botswana for customs clearance of traded goods, thus creating a single point to submit standardized information and documents to meet legal import, export and customs-tranist requirements.
Kindly note that a CPC for Goods that were Permanently Exported but subsequently rejected/returned for some reasons will be deployed in production today, the 10th July 2023?.
Kindly be informed that the Value Added Tax order of 2023 which was issued August 2022 will be coming to an end on 31/03/2023 and the VAT rate will revert to the initial provisions of the VAT act.
Kindly note that Customs Systems Administration have activated CPC for Repairs ; - 60101 Re - Importation after Temporary Export for Repairs within SACU - 60102 Re - Importation after Temporary Export for Repairs Outside SACU
Note that effective 1st September 2021,BOBS permits will be applied online
